Our third annual Climate Voting Report assesses the climate proxy voting records and escalating engagement practices of major Canadian investors.
The 33 investors are selected based on their memberships in leading climate engagement organizations: Climate Action 100+ (CA100+) and Climate Engagement Canada (CEC), with the addition of Canada Pension Plan.
This year’s analysis continues to assess the voting records of select investors, while also highlighting investors who withheld votes from responsible directors for climate-related reasons.
In analyzing engagement practices, we aim to applaud leadership, ensure accountability, and daylight where there is more work to be done.
